Scandinavian Dinner Party & Paper Crown Printable Template

Here’s a little peek at an intimate gathering we hosted at Bligh St. Bistro earlier this year, a very special Birthday dinner.

We decided to go with a Scandinavian theme for the occasion since the birthday girl had spent a lot of time in Denmark and her partner is Swedish. We sensed a running theme in her life that we wanted to reflect in the scrumptious food.

We couldn’t resist making our own Gravadlax but we also couldn’t resist making it hot pink so we made a beetroot & horseradish cured salmon w. marinated fennel salad.

I made personalised party crowns for each guest with a hand painted, Scandi-inspired leaf pattern inside. The crowns doubled up as place cards and were a fun addition to the dinner table.

It was so nice to meet such a lovely family and it was a real treat to hear that they enjoyed their evening as much as we did. If you have a special birthday coming up definitely get in touch. We’d love to create something special for you too.
